Field Trip Details:

One of the biggest ‘things’ in the Internet of Things is your car. Come, see and play with Irdeto’s vehicle hacking car racing video game simulator, connected car demo and more. Irdeto will demonstrate the consequences of car hacking on the race track, and then show us how their security systems can prevent that.

What do UIs look like for managing the security of things that move when you’re actually on the move?  IoT will chart new territory in UI design. Come and see what Irdeto thinks it might be like.

There will be 2 demos and a short talk

  • Secure Environment vehicle hacking demo– a fun, interactive demo that involves one person driving the simulator and another taking on the role of the hacker in a driving simulator that runs a car racing video game to show what kind attacks can be perpetrated on connected vehicles while they are being driven.

  • Keystone connected car key demo– this shows how our product “Keystone” can manage the new car key mobile applications and how it can protect against tampering of these apps. Keystone also incorporates secure policy management to allow different users to be able to access different features of a modern vehicle.
  • Short talk– on the connected world in which we live and dangers we now face, even in your car.
