Presentation Synopsis: “Beyond the Screen”
The popularity of Amazon’s Echo and derivatives has given rise to a whole new way of interacting with our environment, namely conversationally. As a result, many solutions are moving to a voice first user experience. What does that mean for UX designers, product managers, and developers? Timon’s talk will explore this trend and the lessons he and his team have learned in developing conversational user experiences for consumer products and healthcare solutions. He will conclude the talk with an exploration on the future beyond voice … ambient intelligence.
Timon is the Director of Macadamian‘s growing business in the Internet of Things (IoT). Responsible for IoT strategy, partnerships, and platform product management, his areas of focus include healthcare and consumer products. He has over 25 years of product development and operations experience. In his role at Macadamian, Timon is responsible for exploring emerging technologies, developing platform IP, and leveraging both to provide Macadamian and its clients with a compelling competitive advantage.
