ABSTRACT:
Maven is a software project management and comprehension tool. Maven helps to provide a coherent view of Java software projects by managing a project’s build, reporting and documentation using a project description. It provides a way to help with managing: builds, documentation, reporting, dependencies, software configuration management, releases and distribution. This talk will present an overview of a project model, its lifecycle and many common tasks. A focus will be on automating version control, the build and tests – including web applications – using the built-in tools.
