Job: Interaction Designer / Multi-Media Consultant – OTTAWA
Brainhunter Ottawa is currently seeking an Interaction Designer / Multi-Media Consultant for one of our Government clients.
The ideal candidate requires to have the following set of skills:
- Usability and Interaction Design of web-based application software.
- Developing and iterating prototypes such as storyboards, screenshots, web forms, PDF
and HTML 4.01 mock ups using Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop for Web
Browsers. - Designing and developing prototypes for the User-interface, user-centered requirements
gathering and analysis and conceptual web design within strict usability, client
acceptance and compliance-to-standards considerations; Common Look and Feel
Compliance. - Reviewing user web applications and gathering user interface design specifications and
documented application specifications requirements via storyboards (user stories). - Defining information architecture, web application navigation, content flow via a site
map, designing and developing accessible Web pages using HTML 4.01 and CSS 2.0. - Enhancing/updating existing web pages with accessibility features.
- Designing and developing GUI with dynamic web forms.
- Interacting with clients, shaping discussions, providing recommendations, establishing
credibility and exerting significant influence on client decisions. - Keeping current on new and emerging UI technologies and concepts through on-going
study, personal learning and membership in professional associations.
